Kat Chow: what exactly is remarkable if you ask me is the fact that, relating to that study, many males react to women that are asian except Asian males. For a time now, we have been aware of the (popularized? stereotyped?) plight of Asian men lamenting regarding how women that are asian date white dudes, with videos like Wong Fu’s “Yellow Fever.” That stuff’s not brand brand new. But why have not we heard more about the dating choices of Asian guys?
Here is the bit from Quartz that is been fodder for many conversation:
“Unfortunately the data expose champions and losers. All guys except Asians chosen Asian females, while all except black colored females chosen white guys.”

Elise Hu: So one of my responses to your popularity that is disproportionate of ladies is, I do not see troves of males flocking to Asian ladies in the offline globe. We wonder from what extent there is one thing about finding Asian ladies attractive online yet not in “real life.” Is it a preference revealed by online dating sites, or changed in some real means because of it? Just How would, state, the “mask” of displays affect our choices?
