Manyi, 53, watched helplessly as their secure missed productivity as a result of multiple elements of unnecessary use without renovation, erratic rains, and continuous droughts. By 2016, the area cannot even sustain a blade of turf.
Lately, however, she’s shifting that. Manyi is probably the above 35,000 farmers in Kenya that enrolled with the Drylands growth program (DryDev), a donor-led undertaking that is definitely converting arid Kenya into eco-friendly farms.
